Today I was looking through old notes. I found one from Laura Tyler and I thought how sweet she was and so I went to say hello and found that she had passed away just recently. She was one of my first watchers and first to comment.  I went ahead and gave her a watch and wrote a note to her family. I then thought of the friends I've made here and I really want to let you know how much I appreciate you.                    [link]

I never thought to go outside of deviant art to look her up. Thank you for sending the link. It sounded like she was really just getting started. It's nice that her husband is stil promoting her.

It's hard to lose friends no doubts.

It's funny I talked to her a lot and never watched her. I didn't get the whole watching thing when I was first a member. Shocking to go to her page after some time and find that she had passed.

i met my late wife here at DA. i leave a rose on her page on the anniversary of her death each month. sorry to hear about your friend. the handful of friends i started with five years ago, that small but solid core, have all moved on. loss is always sad.

You know it's sad but it's so nice that you have a way to communicate and not forget her. She must have been an amazing person. At first I didn't realize what a family of friends are here on DA . I found this woman by going back in time, she probably wondered why I never watched her. I read her journal entry and no one replied to it. Had I known I would have.

me too. it's really sad that she had no replies, and now it's too late. i guess we never really think about the fact that the person we talk to today may be gone tomorrow. of course, if we did, we'd all be screaming lunatics... could you leave a link to her page? i'd like to pay my respects, in some awkward way.
